Who we are

Visual InfoGlobal is an initiative that rises from the belief that not only information in necessary, but it also has to be accessible, structured and free. That's why data you'll find in this website is organized and in a visual format, as we believe this is the way information becomes understandable.

All the contents we generate (graphs, maps and others) are subject to Creative Commons license: You can include and use them for every puropse as long as you credit us as the original source. You can easily include our contents, either using the Insert button for dynamic contents or downloading the image files in case of static ones. All the data used is free access, extrected from recognised international organizations.

Occasionally, we also display multimedia contents generated by others. They're always free-access contents, indicated with the tag Extracted, which links to the original source. Images used as section's covers can be either content generated by us or images extracted from Wikipedia, which are subject to Creative Commons license.

Visual InfoGlobal started in 2009. After some years of low activity, it has been rebuilt in 2017, offering the current version, run by a little team. We're people comming from different professions but we spend part of our time making this project grow. We're open to suggestions and possible collabrations.
